What is a Senior Citizen? Merriam-Webster defines senior citizen as: an elderly person, especially one who has retired.
That is an expansive definition and lets each of us decide when we become a senior citizen. There is no skill set needed, no identification card stating you are a senior citizen (maybe other than a frequent diner card for the “early buffet”). There is, however, a feeling you may get – your brain tells you, you can do something and your body says otherwise. At Homewatch CareGivers of SW Fort Worth, we can help you move past the physical constraints you may have as you become a senior citizen to help maintain your quality of life and independence. Our Caregivers can provide that extra support you need to continue accomplishing your goals and objectives no matter your Life Classification.
So, to all of you Senior Citizens out there… Embrace it, Enjoy it and Love being a senior citizen. We love you and wish you a very Happy World Senior Citizen’s Day on August 21st!!!
