Our exceptional caregiver, Irena Nowak, was recently honored with the Caregiver of the Year Award 2023! With a total of 234 offices nationwide and over 25,000 caregivers throughout the Homewatch CareGivers network, Irena was nominated by the Sarasota office and then was chosen to receive their highest honor. This award recognizes caregivers who exemplify unparalleled dedication, compassion, and knowledge to the individuals they serve.
“With over 12 years of unwavering commitment and 3,325 shifts of exemplary service with our office, Irena has consistently shown her strong commitment to clients and their families," said Greg Wann, owner of Homewatch CareGivers Sarasota. “No one is more deserving of the Caregiver of the Year Award, than Irena. With her sense of humor and a warm heart, which is combined with her extensive training and experience, she has become invaluable to the many families she has served throughout her years with the Sarasota office. Our team is thrilled to celebrate this major achievement with her.”
Upon receiving her award, Irena responded with, “Oh my goodness, I am so surprised! All I do is my job that I love so much!” Her advice to those doing this work is, “just love the people you serve. I have a heart for everybody!”
