Homewatch CareGivers of Plainfield

Homewatch CareGivers of Plainfield offers specialized non-medical home care services to clients of all ages, including seniors, persons with disabilities, and all others needing assistance to maintain their quality of life. We focus on being active in the community to be able to help our clients with the services and resources they need.

Our care philosophy is based on our belief that no matter your age, you deserve to be treated as an individual. We know that when you feel heard and respected, you are more likely to engage in care. We make sure you are the center of every decision, every day. We value you and empower you to help make each day happier and healthier.

We have over 30 years of healthcare and home care experience and are one of the largest networks of home care providers.

The Administrator of Homewatch CareGivers of Plainfield is Dennise Vaughn, MBA, Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Dennise has over 30 years of hospital leadership experience in clinical and supports services, including 23 years as an executive at Edward-Elmhurst Health. Dennise believes that serving the community is the best way to help others. She has been on 16 community non-profit board of directors. She is currently the President of the Board for the Naperville Lisle Triad, the Immediate Past President for the Association of Senior Service Providers, and a board member for the Naperville Elderly Homes Board and the DuPage Senior Citizens Council Board.

Dennise shared, “As we grow up, we all are prepared for the various milestones in our life like graduating school, getting a job, getting married, having children, but no one prepares us for being the caregiver for our aging parents. It is hard, and we are here to help.”

The Operations Manager is Raquel Gonzalez. Raquel has been a key asset to our Homewatch CareGivers team since August 2019. She started as a part-time caregiver and continues caring for her client on the weekends. She started in the healthcare industry after her mother, Laura, battled a stroke, which motivated Raquel to take care of her mother and help others. Before Homewatch CareGivers, Raquel became a Certified Nurse Assistant in 2012. She worked as a Customer Service Administrator for SIMCO Electronics, a medical calibration lab and software service company. She also worked for the Illinois Department of Human Services in the rehabilitation section.

All Homewatch CareGivers team members undergo extensive screening, including fingerprinting, a background check, and reference checking. We exceed the standard of continuous education and quality assurance required to ensure our caregivers have the knowledge and skills necessary to manage our clients’ conditions.
