Homewatch CareGivers of Phoenix demonstrates their respect, admiration, and appreciation for their caregivers every quarter with a Caregiver Appreciation Luncheon. Caregiving is a selfless job that can be very challenging, but provides the most utmost rewards in terms of satisfaction, gratification, and fulfillment.
Homewatch Caregivers has been honored many times as one of the Best Places to Work in the Valley. We believe in Servant Leadership and recognize that our staff of caregivers in the field are the heroes in our business. The Quarterly Caregiver Appreciation Luncheon is one of many ways that we recognize and celebrate the incredible work of our staff.
Last Thursday was such a celebration as over 40 of caregivers and 10 clients joined us at Mimi’s Café in Desert Ridge for the luncheon we hosted. It was truly a festive affair as it afforded caregivers the opportunity to share stories, and seek advice from their peers.
Whether it is caring for someone with chronic issues like dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, or Parkinson’s Disease, or helping client recover and recuperate from injury such as a hip fracture, pelvic fracture, or upper body fracture, we believe that each client is unique and deserves that special love and attention we would want for our own family members.
At Homewatch Caregivers of Phoenix, our purpose is to nurture and rekindle the human spirit within us. Our vision is of a community, society, and culture that respects and embraces the elderly and disabled, celebrating their contributions and accomplishments, and promoting all that they have to offer. Our mission is based on a commitment and passion to enhance and enrich the quality of life of those we serve, promoting their overall health, safety, and well-being, by creating opportunities to experience joy, happiness, and sustain a sense of purpose in life. To provide peace of mind to family and friends in knowing that their loved one is safe and well cared for. To promote an environment of mutual respect, inspired by compassion and empathy.
