95-year-old, Mrs. S, combats loneliness and depression during COVID-19 Pandemic by to protect our frontline healthcare workers by cutting bias tape that her caregiver, Emily, brought in for her, into ties for seamstresses to sew onto masks. Mrs. S chatted with Emily, smiling as she cut the lengths, stating, “I’ve gotta call my grandson! He will be SO thrilled!! I can just hear him, ‘That’s my Nana!’ ” She LOVED having something helpful she could do.
