Meet Kay Goffa. Homewatch Caregivers (HWCG) is pleased to announce Kay has been selected as its “Caregiver of the Month.
Although Kay is one of HWCG’s newest caregiver (she joined the company in April 2020), she has made an impressionable and lasting impact on every client she cares for. Kay is a versatile caregiver who has been instrumental in making a difference with different types of clients with different chronic conditions … from those needing basic companionship to those who are quadriplegic and in need of around-the-clock full bed care. She always goes the extra mile in her work and is always looking for ways to go above and beyond her call of duty.
For example, Kay went out of her way to help a client move into a new home. She deep cleaned appliances and even scrubbed the client’s floor so thoroughly that the client thought he had new floors put in. Every client assigned to Kay has given us wonderful feedback about her demeanor, compassion, and quality of care. An attribute of a great caregiver is the ability to anticipate a client’s needs. This requires attentiveness and keen observation. Kay is consistently pleasant, always prompt, and arrives smiling to every one of her shifts.
Individual caregivers provide care services differently depending on their work style, personality, demeanor, etc. But all caregivers share the common goal of helping the sick and elderly remain healthy while living in their own homes and communities. Homewatch CareGivers’ greatest assets is its caregivers. This month we salute Kay Goffa for her outstanding work and dedication to our clients.
