Homewatch CareGivers of Charlotte volunteers for the Hospice and Palliative Care

Homewatch CareGivers of Charlotte Owner, Mike Riley and dog, Delilah, recently completed training with the Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region. Here is what he had to say about the experience:

"In addition to the therapy dog training and certification process that Delilah recently completed, I completed 14 hours of training through Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region. This training has allowed Delilah and I to be certified to volunteer for this organization. Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region provides exemplary service to our community. Delilah and I became official volunteers yesterday and went on our first visit. Delilah provided a lot of joy and comfort for both the patient and their families. It is a great honor to work with a great organization and to be able to give back to the community in which we work."

We are so happy Mike and Delilah were able to work with the Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region!
