Hiring and keeping quality caregivers is a key part of delivering meaningful care to each and every one of our clients. This actually starts with the caregivers we currently have, as we reward and incentivize them for their hard work. A good caregiver is one who has compassion for people and the proper training, which we offer all of our employees.
In a creative attempt to retain more caregivers, Eric Malkin, who has owned the Beachwood Homewatch CareGivers office for 15 years, issued a challenge to his team this year. Eric said that anyone who worked 1,000 hours from 4/26/21 to 10/26/21, would earn $1,000.00. Our caregivers absolutely love what they do so it was no surprise to us that three caregivers achieved this goal! Eric recently presented those
$1,000.00 checks to: Hattie Mells, 5- year employee, and Felicia Clark, almost 2- year employee. Great job!
